I have started a new section on the website called Reviews. In this Reviews section I give my assessment of online products that I have tried. These include ad networks, hosting companies, premium plugins, SEO services, etc. Today, I would like to take a look at AdBrite Inc. Let’s see how AdBrite compares to its competitors.
AdBrite was one of the first advertising networks that I applied to when I first started blogging.
How AdBrite Works
The application process was quick and easy. I was approved for a publisher’s account in just a few hours. AdBrite is primarily known for its banner ads and in content ads. AdBrite also displays 3rd party and video ads. AdBrite pays users based on clicks and impressions.
The company is a pretty popular ad network with new bloggers because of its easy approval process. Most new bloggers have a hard time getting accepted into ad networks due to their blogs being too new and having limited content. That’s not the case with Adbrite. I have not met a single blogger who was turned down for an account with AdBrite.
My Experience With AdBrite
I posted 2 AdBrite banners on each of my blogs expecting to make some decent money. Well, the truth is I didn’t. The payouts are extremely. My daily payouts would range from 30 cents to 68 cents on average. There were quite a few 2 and 3 cent days in there as well. There were times when I would have over thousands of impressions and still earn just a few cents.
My biggest problem with AdBrite is the ads. The advertisements look spammy and are totally unrelated to your site’s content. I had advertisements on my site for weight loss, pharmaceutical products, video games, and everything else. All of these ads were totally unrelated to my site’s content. I had ads for everything except financial products! Those would have actually converted well on my site.
I gave AdBrite a few year on my sites and I may have earned $60 total. As my website became more popular, I tossed the ads. A lot of my site’s readers thanked me for doing so.
If you are a new blogger and absolutely desperate (I mean desperate!) for any type of income from your blog then give AdBrite a try. However, my recommendation is that you avoid Adbrite at all costs.

I agree with this post completely there was times were I had 5 to 10 clicks and only have made 5 cents I don’t know whats up with their system.
Those payouts are horrible. You should make a lot more for clicks.
I everyone should avoid AdBrite and just let it die. They don’t pay per click but per every 1,000 views and very little. You may earn from $0.01 to $0.03 per 1,000 views and still don’t get pay because they may say that you are generating too few views. AdBrite is a scam.
